About Heritage Crossing

Heritage Crossing is a mixed-use development at the crossroads of Highway 30 and Highway 44 in Gonzales. We’re providing a focal point for the entire region with a mixed-use design that supports a high-end, complete lifestyle experience unavailable anywhere else in the parish. The residential, retail, restaurants, and other services of the property are connected by the tree lined walking trails and bike lanes that preserve the natural beauty of the land in the center of the city. Heritage Crossing is culture, commerce and community, nestled in the heart of Gonzales.

Keeping Gonzales Moving

Improving the growing City of Gonzales is the reason behind Heritage Crossing. It’s why our developers installed over $10,000,000 in road and infrastructure improvements solely focused on connectivity and traffic flow in the surrounding areas. Part of this infrastructure is the addition of the new St. Francis Parkway, which will connect S. Burnside, through Heritage Crossing, to S. Darla Ave. Through collaboration with the City of Gonzales and Our Lady of the Lake Ascension, Heritage Crossing is part of the master plan to alleviate traffic volume on Highway 30 and open a new commercial corridor, allowing drivers quicker access to I-10 via S. Burnside.

In addition to the interior infrastructure, Heritage Crossing is also making extensive off-site improvements to Highway 30 and S. Burnside in order to improve traffic flow. Multiple deceleration lanes have been installed on both state highways, as well as new median cuts and U-turns along S. Burnside. These improvements are focused on mitigating traffic along the outer ring of the development.

Mixed Use for Maximum Diversity

In order to meet the full needs of our community, Heritage Crossing boasts a unique and robust mixed-use profile. Businesses and storefronts ranging from medical offices to big box stores, to local retailers and restaurants line the interior streets, offering locals and visitors alike access to all things necessary for a complete lifestyle experience.
